Internet access is restricted to professional purposes. A limited personal use within Alstom can be tolerated, if the rules mentioned in this chapter for users are respected :
The user:
Alstom provides temporarily the WIFI service on the TGVM trains for test purposes without any performance commitment regarding the train’s location / corresponding coverage level of the area by mobile telephone operators.
This service may be interrupted at any time without prior warning from ALSTOM.
The user:
- Must not disturb Alstom’s professional network traffic through his/her use of the internet. For example :
- The user must not download unreasonably large files not related to his/her professional activity
- The user must not unreasonably stream videos not related to his/her professional activity
- Ensures that copyrights are respected, by not downloading films, music, images, and software which are subject to licensing requirements
